BW Maintaining Transfer Structures in SAP BW BI

Use

In the transfer structure maintenance, you specify which fields for a DataSource are to be transferred into a communication structure.

Prerequisites

You have created an InfoSource. You have maintained a communications structure.

A maintained communication structure is required for the procedure described in the following. It is however also possible for you to create the InfoSource first, then maintain the communication structure and finally assign the source system.

Procedure

Select a source system.

Select a DataSource that has already been connected using F4 Help or add a new DataSource using Assign DataSource.

The fields for the DataSource are displayed in the right half of the tabstrip transfer structure. These are transferred to the left half in the transfer structure by default.
